This workshop is for our Prong Pack (10-13) and Jacks (14+). Learn the ins and outs of successfully starting a band for any genre.
Join Reno music scene veteran Alex Alcantar for an in-person dive into everything you need to know about starting your first band. On Thursdays from 7 to 8 p.m., you’ll discuss everything there is to know about finding bandmates and what keeps bands together (and what breaks them apart), how to get your first gig and what you can expect when you get there, what a good contract looks like and how to tell if someone is trying to scam you, how booking your first tour works and how to stay safe, and more!
